Astronomy Friday – Messier 100
The beautiful spiral galaxy on the right of this photo is Messier 100, while the edge-on galaxy in the middle is another spiral, NGC 4312. In addition, the little faint smudges directly above and slightly above right of Messier 100 are two other galaxies, NGC 4328 and NGC 4323 respectively.
