Thank you for the opportunity to share some thoughts. As you are a self described Democrat, I offer the following. During the 2018 presidential election, I realized our country could not be more divided. About 1/3rd of the country voted R, about 1/3rd of the country voted D, and about 1/3rd of the country chose not to vote. While I understand that these are not exact percentages, it still leads me to believe that if you voted for our current president, 2/3rds of the country disagreed with you. If you voted for the Democratic nominee, 2/3rds of the country disagreed with you. If you chose to stay home, 2/3rds of the country disagreed with you. Somehow the conversation must be steered toward that we are not Democrats or Republicans, but Americans who believe in democracy. It just infuriates me that we even associate ourselves with the word democracy when we have elected a President who lost the popular vote on more than one occasion. My group has proposed the Trump 21. 21 solutions to current problems that, if enacted, would make President Trump the greatest President ever. Make Congress react to job creation ideas. Make Congress react to money saving ideas. I have dealt with more than my share of so called leaders in this country and I agree with Michelle Obama in that they are nowhere near as smart as they think they are.
