Something In The Air?

Let’s just say that the Bridgeport area in Connecticut does not get a lot of low-flying airplane traffic directly overhead. So it has been a little disconcerting to see and unmistakably hear at least 3 or 4 waves of apparently military jets flying overhead this afternoon. I know that there are plenty of places in the country near Air Force bases where no one would think anything of this. But it’s unusual here. Makes you wonder if something is going on…

UPDATE: Apparently it is all related to the flyover for the start of the US Open.
